A total of 194 Incheon Port Authority (IPA) executives and staff members successfully completed non-face-to-face volunteer activities by participating in the ‘2nd Walking Campaign for Sharing’ on CHERRY Charity Platform for 67 days. IPA announced on the 3rd that it had donated 10 million won and 100 blood donation certificates donated by executives and employees to the Korean Red Cross for low-income families in Incheon.

This is an extension of the ‘1st Walking Campaign for Sharing’ held last year as part of Snickers Day, which is a walking donation event on the ‘CHERRY’ app. At that time, a total of 404 employees and members of the local community participated, and they donated 10 million won and 300 blood donation certificates to the Korea Children's Leukemia Foundation.

The Korean Red Cross expressed its gratitude to CHERRY Charity Platform that lowers barriers to donation through walking by providing a place for companies to participate in donations, and Incheon Port Authority, which publicized the culture of sharing through active participation.

Lee Sujeong, CEO of E4Net Co., Ltd., which develops and operates the blockchain-based charity platform CHERRY, said, “Thanks to the continued interest of the Incheon Port Authority executives and employees who sympathized with CHERRY and participated in helping neighbors by walking donation this year as well as last year. We will continue to introduce a variety of easy and fun donation programs that can help corporate ESG.”

Meanwhile, CHERRY Charity Platform signed an MOU with Korea Guide Star, the only NGO evaluation agency in Korea, to jointly develop a transparency indicator for NGOs. CHERRY is encouraging donations from various organizations, companies, and individuals who are willing to donate, starting with donating half of the proceeds from the sale of the NFT original work 'Gateway', which pop artist Kim Il-dong presented to Will Smith, through 'Good Walking' campaign.
