CHERRY, Unveils ‘AI Virtual Fitting Photo Booth’ at DDP Showroom
Cherry (CHERRY, CEO Lee Su-jeong) announced on the 27th that its photo booth service, “Cherry Photo,” will introduce a photo booth with AI (artificial intelligence) face analysis-based virtual fitting at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) showroom.
This follows Cherry Photo’s selection for the Seoul Business Agency (SBA)’s “2026 DDP Showroom Fashion Company PoC (Proof of Concept) Support Program.” Using AI technology, the photo booth recommends eyewear that suits each user’s face and lets them virtually try out a variety of styles without actually wearing them.
Users can select the eyeglass design they want on the screen, check how it looks on them in real time through the AI virtual fitting feature, and take a photo. A photo frame exclusively designed for the DDP showroom is also included.
By combining its existing photo-taking features with AI-based personalized experience content, Cherry has been expanding the utility of its photo booths. Going forward, the company plans to evolve the service into an experiential platform through content tailored to specific brands and spaces.
“This AI virtual fitting photo booth at the DDP showroom is an example of using AI technology to enhance the experiential aspect of photo taking,” said Lee Su-jeong, CEO of Cherry. “We will continue to collaborate with a variety of brands and spaces to expand AI-based personalized content.”
The Cherry Photo AI virtual fitting photo booth will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the DDP Showroom on the first floor of the DDP Design Lab through the end of this year.
Meanwhile, Cherry Photo is operating photo booth services that combine AI technology and digital content at universities, hotels and resorts, and public institutions.
