Fundraising for the construction of the Lou Gehrig Nursing Center with Sean

The blockchain charity platform ‘Good Day for Donation, CHERRY’ (hereafter referred to as CHERRY) will conduct a fundraising campaign for the construction of the Lou Gehrig Nursing Center with singer Sean.

This fundraising was planned with Sean to raise funds for the construction of the first Lou Gehrig Nursing Center in Korea. Sean established the Seung-il Hope Foundation with Park Seung-il, a former basketball player and coach suffering from Lou Gehrig's disease, and carried out campaigns that aroused great public interest, such as the Ice Bucket Challenge and Donation Run. We are trying to urge social interest in Lou Gehrig's disease, which is a rare disease that has not been identified.

In particular, after establishing the Seungil Hope Foundation, Sean is devoted to raising funds for the establishment of the first Lou Gehrig Nursing Center in Korea through various activities such as donation run, 10,000 push-ups challenge, and donation riding. Of the total budget of 11.4 billion won, 6.94 billion won has been raised and the construction project is underway, and various challenges are being continued with the goal of raising the remaining fund of 4.46 billion won.

On the other hand, Sean, who first started a donation run for children with rare and incurable diseases in 2011, will launch a new campaign different from the activities he has tried so far to arouse interest in the construction of the Lou Gehrig Nursing Center in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the donation run on June 15th. Challenge the field of trailer training. Trail running, also called a mountain marathon, is an exercise that runs on mountain roads, meadows, or forests rather than on paved roads or tracks. After 2 days and 1 night, Sean proceeds with a non-stop trail running along Seoul Dulle-gil. Seoul Dulle-gil consists of a total of 8 courses of about 160 km, which takes about 65 hours for ordinary people to walk, and is worthy of a challenge. After completing the challenge, the Ice Bucket Challenge will also be held right on site.

Sean, who decided to hold this event to heal the wounds of patients with Lou Gehrig's disease, who had not received attention due to its rare disease, said, 'With the support and participation of many people for 10 years, I was able to achieve a challenge that I could not achieve alone.' 'I want to present hope to my friend Park Seung-il and patients with Lou Gehrig's disease through the establishment of a nursing center,' he explained the reason for not stopping donations and challenges.

CHERRY, who is in charge of the fundraising, said, 'I planned this fundraiser to continue the touching story of Sean, who has changed the world with good influence for 10 years, with more people.' We will do our best to become a CHERRY that plays the role of a charity platform that tells the story of '.
