E4Net Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Sujeong), along with the E-Land Foundation (Chairman Park Sung-Kyung) and the Korea Software Industry Association (Chairman Cho Jun-Hee) successfully completed the donation campaign to nurture young people from low-income families and future software talents and held a donation delivery ceremony.

The delivery ceremony was held with the participation of related executives and employees, including Cho Jun-hee, Chairman of the Korea Software Industry Association(KOSA), advisor Jeong Young-il of the E-land Foundation, and Lee Won-oh, Vice President of E4Net.

The ‘Future SW Talent Fostering Donation Campaign’ conducted by the three organizations was carried out in collaboration with CHERRY, a charity platform developed and operated by E4Net Co., Ltd. CHERRY is the first blockchain charity platform in Korea and is creating a transparent donation ecosystem. The campaign lasted for about 2 months from May 2nd to the end of June, and KOSA and affiliated corporations participated in this sharing and achieved a donation of 16,162,983 won early.

A total of 14 corporations including Datasolution Inc., Dooroo EDS, and also KOSA, participated in this sharing. The E-Land Foundation added 10 million won to the donation amount, raising a total of 26.16 million won. The donations raised will be provided to 20 talented people in the IT field from low-income families selected by the E-Land Foundation.

“Companies are very willing to donate in terms of ESG management, but in many cases they are unable to do so due to lack of information on where to donate or how to donate,” said Lee Won-oh, Vice President of E4Net Co., Ltd. "I hope it will serve as an opportunity to continue various participatory funnations(fun+donation) such as fundraising as well as walking campaigns by connecting companies,” he added.

On the other hand, on this day, CHERRY delivered the 'CHERRY Partners' signboard to certify places where love and sharing are practiced at work to Cho Jun-hee, Chairman of the KOSA, and expressed gratitude for being a partner leading the donation culture together.
