E4Net, a 25-year-old IT company, announced on the 28th that CEO Lee Sujeong participated in the “Stay Strong” relay campaign to pray for the overcoming and ending of the new coronavirus infection (Covid 19).
The ‘Stay Strong’ campaign, launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in March, is a relay campaign aimed at spreading solidarity and support for overcoming the COVID-19 crisis around the world.
On July 24, Choi In-hyuk, CEO of Naver Financial, pointed out E4Net as the next runner-up to participate in the relay campaign, saying, “E4Net is a company that takes socially meaningful steps such as creating shared value (CSV) projects.”
E4Net has recently developed a blockchain-based charity platform ‘CHERRY Hope Sharing Platform (hereafter CHERRY)’ and is practicing the spirit of technology that warms the world. In particular, recently, a series of campaigns to help neighbors suffering from Corona 19, such as support for burnout medical staff and a campaign to support masks for Daegu citizens, have been held in succession and attracted attention. CHERRY is showing remarkable growth, recently exceeding 200 million won in cumulative donations.
Lee Sujeong, CEO of E4Net, said, “Using our technology for the benefit of our neighbors is the way to repay the love that E4Net has received from customers for 25 years. I will go out,” he said.
He then pointed out Lotte Members CEO Jeon Hyeong-sik, Anyang World Human Bridge CEO Lim Yong-taek (head pastor of Anyang Methodist Church, and chairman of Life Hope Christian Suicide Prevention Center), and Nam Mi-kyung, CEO of Hanmandu Foods. “Lotte Members is actively engaged in donation activities using the L.POINT app and points, and Anyang World Human Bridge is conducting the ‘People Love Life Love Walking Festival’, the first on-tact social contribution event in Korea. Hanmandoo Food is an innovative social contribution company that presents a new model in the field of shared value creation, such as serving the local community with consumption-linked good donations.”
