It was announced on the 4th that E4Net (CEO Lee Sujeong), a development company specializing in fintech and blockchain, and Cellbig (CEO Lee Sang-no), a company specializing in metaverse and realistic content development, have signed a business partnership agreement related to the planning and development of metaverse and NFT businesses.

In 2019, E4Net launched Korea's first blockchain-based charity platform 'CHERRY' and has been continuously striving to establish a transparent donation culture. So far, more than 300 donation organizations have been carrying out 1,400 campaigns, and recently achieved a cumulative donation of 5 billion won, and it is evaluated that it is on the right track as a charity fundraising platform. Recently, E4Net announced a new plan to evolve the CHERRY platform into a social impact community that maximizes its positive influence on society in order to attract more user participation. Based on NFT, it is intended to envision a metaverse community where users can be continuously motivated to participate in social impact activities.

Cellbig is a company with experience in developing various augmented and virtual reality contents and is pioneering new business areas through continuous R&D. In 2021, it launched the first smart kindergarten platform in Korea to expand and supply services to over 600 kindergartens nationwide, and continues to research and develop human-centered content connection technology using artificial intelligence technology. Based on this, Cellbig is seeking development into a human-centered metaverse, breaking away from the metaverse industry that was being discussed centering on the existing virtual environment. Through the metaverse, Cellbig is envisioning technologies and services that can complement and expand the values and experiences of the existing society, rather than being disconnected.

According to this agreement, the two companies promised to work hard to create a new donation culture, starting with mutual cooperation on discovering metaverse and NFT business areas based on the existing CHERRY Charity Platform. E4Net develops a service and NFT-oriented economic system that can build a social impact community ecosystem based on its blockchain and NFT development capabilities. Cellbig plans to build a virtual space for social impact communities and cooperate in developing gamification elements based on its metaverse and visualization content development capabilities. In addition, the companies will continue to make joint efforts to seek business opportunities related to metaverse and NFT in the future.

"This agreement is the first step for 'CHERRY' to evolve into 'CHERRY World', a full-fledged metaverse platform," said Lee Sujeong, CEO of E4Net.

Lee Sang-no, CEO of Cellbig, said, “We expect that Cellbig’s Metaverse technology and E4Net’s blockchain technology will create great synergy in the future market, and we will build a new donation ecosystem that can further benefit the world with our convergence technology. It is very meaningful to be able to do it.”
