Cherry, a blockchain-based donation platform, made a strong impression at CES 2025, showcasing its potential for global expansion.
With support from Kyungpook National University and Daegu Technopark, Cherry participated in the event as part of the Regional Innovation Strategy (RIS) project. The company introduced Cherry Photo, a unique photo booth where taking pictures also means making a donation. This creative concept drew great interest from global buyers.
Over 400 visitors stopped by Cherry’s booth to try Cherry Photo, and the company recorded $1 million in export consultations.
Many attendees praised the technology and ease of use. One visitor said, “I love the idea of combining photography with donations. It’s creative and has great potential, not just for individuals but also for businesses focusing on ESG.”
Cherry is also working on an AI-powered photo editing solution, which will automatically enhance pictures and offer custom styles. The company plans to launch the upgraded Cherry Photo later this year. Additionally, exports to the U.S. and Canada are set for the first half of the year, and Cherry aims to expand further into North America and Europe following CES 2025.
Sujeong Lee, CEO of Cherry, shared her excitement: “CES is an incredible opportunity to expand globally. We’re thrilled by the interest we’ve received and look forward to collaborating with partners from around the world.”
