Daegu startups join hands to promote donations... 'Cherry' and 'DoubleM Social Company' take the lead.

Two startups located in Daegu Scale-Up Hub (DASH), a representative start-up childcare center in the region, have joined hands to revitalize donations.
Blockchain developer 'Cherry' (CEO Lee Soo-jung) and metaverse new tech company 'DoubleM Social Company(Kim Sun-mi)' signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to spread donation activities on the 31st of last month and promised mutual cooperation.
Cherry is the first donation platform in Korea that is said to have taken the donation culture to the next level by tracking the process of using donations in real time with micro-tracking technology based on blockchain.
It is leading the dailyization of donations by developing cherry photos that can be donated when taking photos and cherry donation kiosks that are naturally linked to donations in daily life and consumption activities such as hotels, schools, and restaurants.
DoubleM Social Company is an innovative firm that creates various cultural and artistic exhibition content and develops training solutions in the metaverse virtual space. It is a new technology company that won the '2023 Media New Technology Technology Grand Prize from the Mayor of Daegu.'
In the future, various donation activities and events will be jointly planned and developed in virtual space by combining Double M Social Company's innovative metaverse technology with Cherry's donation platform technology.
Lee Soo-jung, CEO of Cherry, said, "We hope that the business agreement will make it easier for more people to participate in donations through our technology in the metaverse space."
Kim Sun-mi, CEO of DoubleM Social Company, said, "We are happy to support meaningful donation activities within our platform through cooperation with Cherry."
