CHERRY Launches ‘Together Donation,’ Enabling Fans and Friends to Donate Together

CHERRY, Korea’s first blockchain-based donation platform, announced the official launch of its new group donation service, ‘Together Donation’, which allows users to create and join donation groups with friends, families, or fandom communities.


‘Together Donation’ is a participatory donation service where users can form groups to contribute to a shared fundraising campaign, enjoy features such as group donation rankings, and receive digital photo donation certificates. Users can also commemorate special occasions—like birthdays or anniversaries—by creating their own donation history as a group. After each donation, a photo-based donation certificate is automatically issued, allowing donors to visualize and celebrate their achievements. The platform also supports a “donation relay” feature to encourage ongoing community engagement.


Participation is easy and flexible. Users can donate directly or take part through ad-supported donation draws, enabling participation even without payment. The service includes individual and group donation rankings to add a fun competitive element, and fans can donate on behalf of their favorite celebrities, with monthly celebrity donation rankings provided.


Notably, CHERRY will launch a global version in early September, opening the service to overseas fandoms and expanding its mission to build a global donation community that transcends borders.


A CHERRY representative stated, “‘Together Donation’ is not just a form of giving—it’s a new model of social participation where communities like fandoms, families, and friends can take part in giving together. We will continue to create partnerships and events that make donation fun and meaningful for everyone.”


To celebrate the launch, CHERRY is hosting a special event offering photo donation cards and a one-day rental voucher for the CHERRY Photo Booth, a four-cut photo experience linked to donations. Participation is available through the CHERRY mobile app.


Since its launch in 2019, CHERRY has partnered with more than 470 organizations and hosted over 2,600 campaigns, reaching more than 570,000 donations and a total of 21.8 billion KRW donated. Beyond its online platform, CHERRY continues to expand its impact through offline initiatives like the CHERRY Donation Kiosk and CHERRY Photo Booth, spreading a culture of everyday giving.
