Korea's first blockchain-based charity platform 'CHERRY' announced on the 27th that it would hold the 'CHERRY Expert Advisory Group Inauguration Ceremony' and start operating services based on participation from all levels of society.


The inauguration ceremony was attended by Lee Ho-soo, advisor of SK Telecom’s AI Research Center, Korea’s top artificial intelligence expert, Sungkyunkwan University professor Koo Min-jeong, Joy & Partners law office Kim Tae-joon, Anypoint Media CEO Baek Won-jang, Dasan Accounting Corporation Song Gwan-yong, DAD Co., Ltd. Shin Chang-min, and Juan Graduate University University. Professor Geun-jae Yoo and CEO Yong-gwan Jeong of iBank Co., Ltd. attended, and experts in various fields such as international marketing, advertising, media fintech, law, and accounting were appointed as the CHERRY expert advisory group.


As CHERRY claims to be a representative commercialization service of blockchain technology with a philosophy of implementing a democratic system through distributed storage of information, in platform operation, various stakeholders are included in the decision-making process to achieve blockchain consensus and It can be interpreted as an attempt to embody the spirit of trust.


Advisor Lee Ho-soo, who was appointed as an expert advisory group for CHERRY, advised, 'Just as companies are building personalized systems, CHERRY should also provide customized donation services to donors.' CHERRY expects that the online donation culture will spread further in the on-tact era with the participation of expert advisory groups in various fields.


Meanwhile, in addition to the above expert advisory group, a total of five groups will join CHERRY's donation ecosystem to form 'CHERRY World'. 'CHERRY Fiumi', a group of young donors who provide fresh insights based on young senses and ideas; 'CHERRY Partners', composed of companies that participate in donations and practice sharing through CHERRY; ‘CHERRY Members’, a steering committee group that presents a vision as a member of the organization, an ‘expert advisory group’ that provides advice in various fields such as IT, donations, and law, and a ‘research committee’ that helps CHERRY grow with their own expertise. Representative groups that are making things together joined CHERRY.


On November 24, an inauguration ceremony was held for CHERRY's operating council, 'CHERRY Members'. The event was attended by Kim Kang-seok, CEO of International Information Technology Private Cooperation Organization, Kim Wook, Secretary-General of the E-Land Foundation, Park Jin-woong, Secretary-General of the World Canaan Movement Headquarters, Sohn Min-joon, Secretary-General of the Dail Welfare Foundation, and Choi Jong-won, CEO of Saegil and Saeil. At this meeting, the steering committee members discussed ways to vitalize donation culture and the direction of CHERRY based on their long experience in running donation organizations. Seong-tae Kim, CEO of World Human Bridge, and Jeon-sang Jeon, auditor of the International Information Technology Private Cooperation Organization, were unable to attend, but were named as members of the steering committee.


In the future, CHERRY Expert Advisory Group and Steering Committee CHERRY Members plan to receive reports on CHERRY's operational status through meetings four times a year, participate in major decision-making processes, and grow CHERRY together. It is a part that raises expectations that it will be able to grow into a public platform that is loved by more people by reflecting the voices of various parts of society.


Lee Sujeong, CEO of E4Net, which operates CHERRY, said, 'CHERRY's vision is to warm the world with technology.' It will be possible,' he said. He also said, 'We will do our best together with the members of CHERRY World so that more people can participate in sharing by establishing transparency in donations with blockchain technology.'
