Cherry Donation Platform to Host Third “WERACLE Walk” with WERACLE

Blockchain-based donation platform CHERRY will host the “2026 WERACLE Walk” on May 30 at Pyeonghwa Square in Peace Park, Sangam, in collaboration with YouTuber WERACLE. The event is co-organized by CHERRY, WERACLE, and Compassion Korea.


Launched in 2023, WERACLE Walk is a participatory charity campaign that transforms participants’ steps into donations for children in need around the world. This year’s campaign will support children in Kenya facing severe water shortages, in partnership with global child development organization Compassion.


Held under the slogan, “We walk for your tomorrow,” participants will follow an approximately 7-kilometer route starting from Pyeonghwa Square and passing through Haneul Park and Noeul Park. The distance symbolizes the average journey Kenyan children must make each day to access water.


The event is designed to be fully barrier-free, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities, including wheelchair users and families with strollers. For those unable to attend in person, CHERRY also offers a virtual participation option through its mobile app, allowing users to track and submit their steps from any location.


Registration is open through May 28 via the official websites of CHERRY and Compassion Korea. Participation is limited to 2,500 individuals on a first-come, first-served basis, and all participants will receive commemorative rewards.


All proceeds from the campaign will be used to develop water infrastructure across five regions in Kenya, providing reliable access to clean water for local communities, including approximately 1,500 children.


A number of corporate partners are supporting the initiative. HDEX will sponsor official event T-shirts, while Eponet and Dream Security will contribute to operational costs. HUJI will participate through a matching grant program, donating in proportion to participants’ step counts. EcoAnd will provide official rewards, and Cheonho N Care, Rizar Coffee, and ODB will operate on-site booths.


Additional partners — including Proteone, Paradise City, Minix, Ceragem, GNM Life, Aromatica, Heynature, and Cheonho N Care — will provide products for event participants.
