CHERRY Co., the operator of CHERRY, Korea’s first blockchain-based donation platform, has obtained the ISMS-P (Information Security and Personal Information Management System) certification. With this achievement, CHERRY has been officially recognized for maintaining the highest level of security and personal data protection across all aspects of its donation service operations.
The ISMS-P certification is a national standard jointly administered by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission of Korea. It is the country’s most comprehensive framework for evaluating a company’s information security management system, assessing over 100 criteria including system establishment and operation, access control, encryption, and the collection, use, and disposal of personal data.
Through this certification, CHERRY has not only strengthened the protection of donor information but also enhanced the transparency and stability of its platform.
A company representative stated, “Achieving ISMS-P certification demonstrates CHERRY’s commitment to prioritizing customer trust as a donation platform. We will continue to advance our security and personal information protection systems.”
With this milestone, CHERRY is now positioned to provide even more reliable services to both domestic and global donors and partner organizations. The company also plans to actively integrate ‘security by design’ principles into the development of new services going forward.
