Increasing accessibility to donations through various initiatives.

The blockchain-based donation platform "Cherry" announced that it has achieved a cumulative donation of 15 billion won.
Cherry achieved 1 billion won in donations within 15 months of its launch in December 2019. In August last year, four years after its launch, the platform surpassed 10 billion won in donations. Now, less than a year later, it has reached a cumulative donation amount of 15 billion won.
A Cherry representative stated, 'The primary reason for this achievement is the 'microtracking' feature, which allows donors to transparently track their donations in real-time using blockchain technology.
It is also notable that Cherry has created a natural donation environment through features such as Cherry Walk, Cherry Photo, and Cherry Donation Kiosks, which provide easy donation opportunities in everyday life.
In particular, Cherry Photo, which automatically makes a donation when a photo is taken, attracted the interest of the MZ generation, who are generally indifferent to donations. Data from Cherry shows that 54.6% of all donors are from the MZ generation.
Cherry Photo is installed at various locations across the country, including Hanwha Resort Geoje Bellvantage, Pohang Handong Global University, and Marriott Hotel Sejong. Recently, in response to the enthusiastic reaction at the National Sejong Arboretum, Cherry has signed an MOU with the Korea Forest Service to install Cherry Photo at 14 public and private arboreta in the future.
In addition, through various donation channels such as 'Cherry Donation Kiosk' and 'Cherry Sneakers Day,' which allow company employees to participate, Cherry has also been encouraging many companies to take part in donations.
