CHERRY (CHERRY, CEO Lee Sujeong), the first blockchain charity platform in Korea that is increasing the participation of the MZ generation in donations using the app, held the ‘1st Donation Good Day, CHERRY Webtoon Contest’ award ceremony on the 6th. This contest is the first webtoon contest in Korea with the theme of donation, and was held to create a healthy webtoon culture and raise future generations' interest in donations.

150 people of various ages, from office workers to elementary school students, participated in this donation webtoon contest. The participants expressed the CHERRY Platform's donation campaign or their own donation stories through webtoons, and donation webtoons with various themes were selected as excellent works. Award-winning works include various ways to participate in donations, a campaign to help stray dogs with stray dogs as the main characters, and a webtoon based on the experience of volunteering at a children's center.

Kim Jun-seong, who won the special prize in the general division, expressed his determination, saying, "Like the main character of the webtoon I drew, I will continue to make small donations."

Hosted by the charity platform 'CHERRY', supervised by the corporation All People, cooperated by Cheonggang University of Culture and Industry, and sponsored by the IT Female Entrepreneurs Association, 18 winners and participants were awarded 12 million won in prize money and from AlphaScan. Sponsored high-end monitors and tablets were awarded as prizes. The charity platform CHERRY will continue to hold a donation webtoon contest to promote a healthy webtoon culture and donation.
