Successful completion of ‘THINK&C Party’, an influence sharing event that spans generations

Korea's first blockchain charity platform, CHERRY, announced on the 16th that it had successfully completed the THINK&C party to spread a culture of good deeds and donations. The event was held on the 8th at Sono Felice Convention in Samseong-dong, Gangnam, hosted by THINK&C and operated by CHERRY. A total of 130 people participated in the event, including influential young generations such as creators, artists, and entrepreneurs in their 20s and 40s, and mentor groups in their 50s and 60s for the next generation. THINK&C is a committee composed of 8 creators and influencers with the purpose of thinking about the spread of donation culture together with CHERRY.

At the event, which was held in three parts for about 4 hours from 6:00 pm, actress Shin Ae-ra, NFT artist Kim Il-dong, graffiti artist Artime Joe, and Yoon Min-chae, CEO of Startup for Single Parents, gave lectures on various topics as speakers, flutist Lee Seol, and violinist Yeo Geun-ha, professor at Oikos University, hip-hop singer Bumkey, and dance team I.B performed a congratulatory stage. In addition, Artime Joe performed a graffiti performance and held a donation auction, and Kim Sook-hee, CEO of Solideo Systems, won the bid for 3.1 million won, and this amount was donated to YANA's 'CHERRY Dance Challenge with Think & C' campaign. In addition, there were plenty of impromptu donation programs, such as conducting a donation dance challenge for each team.

THINK&C Party was organized with the goal of building a private community between influential young and older creators and spreading a culture of good deeds and donations for a sustainable world. Event participants are selected and individually invited by the organizers according to the criteria for the purpose of the meeting, and the community will be expanded through regular events a total of four times a year, including one year-end party and three quarterly meetings.

CHERRY CEO Lee Sujeung said, “We will make the THINK&C community a healthy platform that can be expanded autonomously by various generations and occupational fields in the future. By linking this activity with the CHERRY Charity Platform, we will make a party event that encompasses generations create a synergistic effect that spreads a healthy donation culture.”

CHERRY, Korea's first blockchain-based charity platform developed by IT company E4Net, is receiving great response from charitable organizations and partners by transparently disclosing the entire process of donations from fundraising to use through blockchain. Currently, the cumulative amount of sponsorship has reached KRW 6.7 billion in just three years since the launch of the service. In the ISO blockchain standard ISO/TR 3242 published last October, CHERRY was listed as Korea's only exemplary use case for blockchain technology, and its technology was recognized internationally.
