Blockchain Donation Platform 'Cherry' Holds "2024 Wirak Walk" With Park Wi on June 6

Blockchain donation platform Cherry and promotional ambassador Park Wi are scheduled to hold "2024 Wirak Walk" on June 6.

The blockchain donation platform "Cherry" announced that it will hold the "2024 WERACLE Walk" with its promotional ambassador, WIRACLE Park Wi, on June 6.

The "WERACLE Walk" is a donation race where participants walk both online and offline with Park Wi of "WIRACLE," who has delivered messages of hope and courage through his YouTube channel. The event started in 2023 with Cherry and WIRACLE joining forces, symbolizing that our steps can come together to create miracles, just as the name "WIRACLE" suggests—a miracle we make.

Applications for the "2024 WERACLE Walk" are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the blockchain donation platform "Cherry" app. Participants can choose to join either on-site or remotely. If choosing the remote option, participants can start from their current location instead of the Mulbit Stage at Yeouido Hangang Park and begin walking by clicking the start button on the Cherry app at the designated start time.

The "2024 WERACLE Walk," now in its second year, will take place on Thursday, June 6. Participants will walk a round-trip course of approximately 7.3 km, starting from the Mulbit Stage at Yeouido Hangang Park, turning around at the Yanghwa Hangang Park soccer field, and returning to the Mulbit Stage. The event will be held both online and offline, and the entire participation fee will be donated to children in Gaza through UNICEF's Korean Committee.

Meanwhile, Cherry is Korea's first blockchain-based donation platform, currently used by 400 non-profit organizations and has raised 14 billion won. Cherry has been attracting various generations to donate by introducing diverse participatory donation services through its app, such as "Cherry Walk," where donations are made by walking, and the "Donation Dance Challenge," where donations are made by dancing.

Additionally, Cherry operates simple "Kiosk Donations" and the "Cherry Photo Donation Photo Studio," where donations can be made just by taking a picture, increasing donation accessibility and continuously presenting various donation methods.
