Blockchain Charity Platform 'CHERRY' holds a donation bazaar with Yana Inc.

CHERRY, a blockchain Charity Platform, announced that it will hold a bazaar at POSCO Change Ground in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, from the 17th to the 18th of this month to support nursery schools and independent young adults together with Yana.

The bazaar was planned and organized by SolidEOS Systems, Demain & Artlab, CM Partners, and Haru Dental, who have been sponsoring CHERRY and Yana. Proceeds from the sale of corporate sponsored items will be used to support the medical expenses of the orphanage and independent young adults. Products sponsored by good companies such as Solideosystems, Jungsemul Beauty, Esther Formula, and Revipoyou will be sold. There will also be many costumes and favorite items from famous artists and celebrities such as Shin Ae Ra, Park Jin Hee, Park Na Rae, and Sandara Park.

In addition to the sponsored products, there will be a variety of other items, including clothing, shoes, cosmetics, eyewear, and food. "All the vendors have agreed to donate a portion of their sales," said CHERRY, "so visitors can not only enjoy shopping, but also practice good consumption that leads to donations."

Participation in the bazaar costs 10,000 won and can be applied for through the 'CHERRY' app. Even if you can't make it to the bazaar, you can still make a donation from anywhere in the world by purchasing a ticket.

CHERRY is the first blockchain-based Charity Platform in Korea that records the flow of all donations on the blockchain to promote a transparent donation culture. Launched in 2019, more than 380 donor organizations are currently running more than 1,900 campaigns. Cumulative donations have exceeded 11 billion won.

Yana is a non-profit organization that uses 100% of its donations exclusively for projects related to beneficiary childcare facilities and youth preparing for independence. It is characterized by collecting donations on CHERRY and disclosing them transparently.

"This bazaar is an opportunity for both parties to practice their goals and values together," said a CHERRY representative. "The proceeds from the bazaar and donations will be used to support the medical expenses of childcare centers and young adults preparing for independence and to spread a transparent donation culture."
