CHERRY Corp., the first blockchain-based charity platform operator in Korea, held a launching ceremony for the 3rd generation of ‘CHERRY Blossomers', youth supporters for a good walking service, CHERRY Walk , on the 21st.

Cherry Blossomers was launched in 2020 by E4Net, the parent company of CHERRY Corp., to provide opportunities and a place for young people to see the value of young donations for the vision of CHERRY Charity Platform that aims to nurture future generations of philanthropists. Starting from January 2023, the third period of activities will begin.

Starting with the launching ceremony, the 10 CHERRY Blossomers selected this time will directly participate in search for improvements and promotional activities for CHERRY WALK, a new service of CHERRY Corp., for three months in 2023. CHERRY Blossomers are paid a monthly activity fee, and an additional scholarship worth 500,000 won is awarded according to their performance.

CHERRY Blossomers has been active for 3 years, starting with the 1st term in May 2020, the 2nd term in 2021, and the 3rd term this year. In the meantime, in order to publicize the CHERRY Charity Platform, they have been conducting online activities by producing and uploading publicity materials with writing and design according to their talents. In addition, certificates of appreciation and scholarships are being awarded to CHERRY Blossomers who have performed well as youth supporters.

The service that CHERRY Blossomers will focus on in 2023 is the ‘CHERRY WALK’, a new concept donation service that combines points received by walking with donations. In particular, users can make donations based on mobile technology without spending money directly, so it is a service that contains CHERRY Corp.'s capabilities as a new alternative to the donation culture that has recently been stagnant. At the launching ceremony, CHERRY Corp. CEO Lee Sujeong expressed her will to improve domestic donation culture, saying, "I hope that CHERRY Blossomers will not only improve and publicize the CHERRY Walk service, but also become a cradle for nurturing future generations of philanthropists."
