The event was attended by Chairman Cho Heung-shik of Fruit of Love, Yoo Young-seok, Director of Current Affairs Headquarters at SBS, Lee Sujeong, CEO of CHERRY, and NFT artists Kim Myung-jin and Kim Il-dong, as well as campaign officials. In particular, swimmer Park Tae-hwan participated in the green fruit NFT sharing campaign as the first donor and expressed his feelings through a video message.
The Green Fruit NFT Sharing Campaign is a fundraising campaign for environment-related support projects under the slogan of “creating a better environment for future generations.” Through the campaign, Fruits of Love plans to carry out activities to respond to environmental issues such as carbon neutrality and zero waste, and support projects for the vulnerable who suffer from climate crises such as heat waves and cold waves.
This campaign, which started on the 20th, issues green fruit NFTs (non-fungible tokens) using the fruit of love's unique mascot, 'Fruits of Love', instead of donation certificates to the first 5,000 people who donated 100,000 won or more through the charity platform CHERRY. Green Fruit NFTs are designed differently with the theme of the environment.
The entire process from donation to NFT issuance and storage is carried out at once in CHERRY, and when the issued NFT is resold, 30% of the sales proceeds are automatically donated. The Green Fruit NFT Sharing Campaign runs until November 30th and ends when all 5,000 limited edition Green Fruit NFTs are issued.
Chairman Cho Heung-shik of Fruit of Love said, “The Fruit of Love will do its best to gather interest and participation in solving the climate crisis through the ‘Green Fruit NFT Campaign’.” We will continue to expand,” he said.
