On the 8th, donation platform CHERRY announced that it has partnered with MBC Universe to launch a fandom-participation donation campaign titled “FAC(Fan Athletics Championships)
In this campaign, fans donate their steps to their chosen idol team, and the names of the top three idol teams with the most steps will be used to make a total donation of 10 million KRW. The key feature is that the passion of fans is channeled into creating social value under the name of their favorite artists.
CHERRY has joined forces to promote a transparent donation culture and expand K-POP fandoms participation in social value. Following “FAC” CHERRY plans to continue its collaboration with MBC through ESG-linked initiatives.
A CHERRY spokesperson said, “We combined fandom culture with donations so that K-POP fans can realize social value in the name of their beloved artists. Going forward, we will continue to spread the culture of global giving through various participation-based campaigns.”
The “FAC” campaign runs until the 15th, where participants receive a participation code from MBC Universe and register it in the CHERRY app. The final results will be announced during a broadcast in October.
