Korea’s first blockchain-based platform ‘CHERRY Hope Sharing Platform’ (hereafter CHERRY) is taking the lead in establishing an ethical consumption culture through various social contribution cooperation with companies.

On the 5th, CHERRY signed a business agreement with the research institute 'Shema' for matching donations and joint research in healthcare. The contents of the memorandum of understanding included the content of donating 1,000 won through CHERRY for every 'Shema Air Mac' mask sold, and 3 million won for masks sold previously was delivered to CHERRY. ‘Shema’ is a research institute founded by former KAIST national project research center CISS professor Dae-Ik Han.

In addition, ‘Hanmandu Food’, a company specializing in dumpling manufacturing, participated in the donation matching campaign to support side dishes for the elderly living alone in ‘Mission & Culture’. Through the campaign, one set of dumplings is delivered to each elderly person receiving side dishes, for a total of 150 sets. CHERRY and 'Hanmandu Food' plan to launch 'donation dumplings' in which a certain amount of sales profits will be donated through continuous cooperation.

CHERRY plans to contribute to the establishment of a ‘good consumption’ culture in which conscious consumption leads to sharing through continuous expansion of CSR (Corporate Social Contribution) cooperation with various companies in the future.

Lee Sujeong , CEO of E4Net, which develops and operates CHERRY, said, 'Consumers' awareness of social values is evolving, and ethics are emerging as an important criterion for consumption activities.' We will grow CHERRY as a representative social contribution platform that can connect people's demand for good consumption'.
