E4Net Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Sujeong), a development and operator of the charity platform CHERRY, together with the Korea Software Industry Association (Chairman Cho Jun-hee, hereinafter referred to as 'KOSA') and the E-Land Foundation (Chairman Park Seong-kyung), signed 'a business agreement ceremony for social responsibility activity and donation campaign to nurture future software talents for children from low-income families' on the 21st. The signing ceremony was attended by the association's president, Cho Jun-hee, E4Net CEO Lee Sujeong, and E-Land Foundation head Lee Yoon-jeong.

CHERRY, the first blockchain charity platform in Korea to create a transparent donation culture, continues to grow with a cumulative donation of 3.6 billion won, and provides a 'CHERRY Snickers Day' service for a walking donation campaign that connects companies and Millennials and Gen Z who prefer participatory donations. We are working hard to connect companies and donation organizations in line with the era of ESG management.

This agreement was also concluded while KOSA, as a representative organization of the software industry, was thinking about ways to lead the donation culture and contribute to society as part of ESG management according to industry issues such as the recent emergence of the need for talent training. The donation raised through the campaign will be used to meet and support children from low-income families who want software education but have environmental difficulties in learning.

This campaign will start on May 6th and run for about two months through the CHERRY platform. The association plans to encourage member companies that have participated in donations to actively participate and support the establishment of a donation culture.

In response, Cho Jun-hee, chairman of KOSA, said, "As a representative of the software industry, it is meaningful to contribute to the establishment of a donation culture."

Lee Sujeong, CEO of E4Net Co., Ltd., said, “As a member of KOSA, I thank the association for being with us in a meaningful cause. I hope we can continue to work together.”

Lee Yoon-jeong, head of the E-Land Foundation, said, “Educational support is needed to develop talent in the IT field that children are interested in, but I think it will be a good opportunity for children who have not had the opportunity. In particular, we plan to expand the target to children who have completed protection who are preparing for their career and self-reliance to help them achieve practical independence.”

Companies and individuals who wish to participate in this donation campaign can participate through the CHERRY Charity Platform (www.cherry.charity) and KOSA website (www.sw.or.kr) from May 6th.
